Background: The client called us in to help come up with some ideas on how to launch their restaurant that was opening in a couple of week’s time. The restaurant formed part of a multi-million pound investment by the owners.
Outcome: We devised an opening night which would have specially invited guests and managed the invitations and all administration. As part of a coordinated PR campaign we set up a Press Office which approached local and regional press and radio. We succeeded in securing one radio interview plus a number of press interviews that produced a number of articles being featured in targeted newspapers and magazines. Joseph Tirelli also acted as the client’s Master of Ceremonies on the night. With his team, which included an event photographer, Joseph supported the client to manage the successful evening opening with specially invited VIP and media guests. The Olive Tree has since developed an excellent reputation and loyal customer base.
